Deja vu, and other things....

SO! Deja vu. It's an odd subject but this WHOLE WEEK has been a massive deja vu experience. Everything that has been said, everything I've learned, everything I've seen and even felt has all happened before. It's really weird... I remember when I was 12 and thought/saw one of my classes all the way through. It's distracting but in a not bad way. But literally every single thing that has happened here, I remember happening before now.  These last weeks have been a little tough. Mentally. A rollercoaster you could say. Ups and downs all the time and an all time low on Wednesday. It's all good now but I have really been through it. This week has been fun but definitely tricky at times.  Ummm... volleyball! My district and I love playing volleyball in the gym when very few people are there! It's really fun and we are all enjoying ourselves.  We went to the Temple today and I really liked it! Even though it was raining and was really cold we took photos (which wi

This week has been a slow blur. A very fun, sad, happy, and serious blur but a blur nonetheless. (this might be long)       Monday was the FIRST practice lesson my companion and I had... after 2 failed meetings due to sickness and a lack of communication. I don't think it went too well. But, the person who was closing saw us and was the only person able to override it and let us on the plane from Tyler to Dallas. I'm standing there wondering which of the 4 gates is the one I am on (it was 4. The others were all closed) and a guy comes up and says, "Hello Elder! Where are you headed?" This caught me  a bit by surprise because he had on a reflective safe

Hello everyone! One week is already gone...  I'm new to this so if this one is boring or just eh, there will be more okay? Waking up at 6:30 was harder than I thought, but sleeping in until 9 before my mission started didn't exactly make it easier. The first morning was a little scary waiting for class to start at 2:30. Talmage helped me by introducing me to the wonders that are the Safety Zone videos! Someone actually managed to make safety informative AND fun! So after bingeing half of them in a couple of hours, I decided to slow it down and save a few for later... and finished the rest of them the very next day. I know, save them for later I said, watch them throughout the week I said. Yeah, that didn't happen. My first class was amazing! The spirit was definitely there. My district and I got to know each other fairly quickly and really got along well! My companion is Elder Thompson and he lives in Denton TX! Only 3+ hours away. But I could say the others are that far
