Study Journal, street / park contacting, and Eli Jones again!

So just recently started a study journal and it has helped my studies a ton! The insights and thoughts that I write down stay with me more and help them stay in my mind. My studies are way more helpful and interesting now and I wish I had done this way before now. So, yesterday on exchanges, I went in my old area! We went street contacting in the city park and it was so fun! We talked to a ton of people and even ran into some young women from some of the Filer wards. They made Elder Seigfried, Elder Klomp's new greenie, and I bracelets that say "I love Jesus". And of course we wore them the rest of the day.  I also got to see my miracle find Eli! He was baptized a week and a half ago and is doing amazing! We taught him about tithing some more and took some photos. It was great to surprise him. He was really sad I left so he was so happy to see me again. It was a fun week and I'm sorry there wasn't much to say but I'm still alive and will have more next week! G

Timing with miracles and sleep...

So, this was a great week! There were a lot of miracles and blessings we saw throughout the week. It was great to see the Lord working through us like that.  Now, there were a few miracles that I found the most interesting. One was a few days ago on Thursday or Friday and we were tracting an apartment complex and we knocked into a lady named Brooklyn who had just gotten through a divorce and was taking it pretty badly. We talked to her and testified that God loves her and cares for her and we gave her our number! We went back on Monday, and she loved the message! She wants to be baptized and we will keep meeting with her to make that happen.    Another also happened on Monday. My exchange companion, Elder Lund, and I were having no luck with anything. We were about halfway to Jackpot Nevada, which is an hour away and still in our area, so we decided to go down and see what we can do there. We spent a couple minutes looking for a street to knock and choose one that I had never seen befo

The Lord’s Will

Okay, so, this week has been crazy. No real guarantee who I'll be with each day. I was only with my companion 5 days this week. We had quite a few exchanges. One of them was really good and the other made me realize something.  Our zone does crazy goal oriented exchanges every Monday. Last week was good and really high but this week was even higher than that. We had the goal of 5 people on date and 17 finds per companionship. Now, some companionships did achieve that insanely high goal and others definitely didn't even get close. That could be because of work ethics that they got really low numbers but for me and my area it was a different reason. Sunday night, I felt that the goal was achievable and that we would get it on Monday. Now, when Monday came, Elder Phillips and I got out and worked super hard. Our end totals were 0 on date and 2 finds.  It was quite discouraging to see the success others had (8 on date and 37 finds) compared to ours. But, as I looked back on the day

Transfers, an Apostle, Jarbidge, and an Exchange Miracle!

So, how is everyone? I hardly hear from you guys and would just like to know how you all are. Now, transfers. I have been moved 20 minutes away to Filer. It hasn't been worked in a bit so is a gold mine for missionary work! However, we have had a super busy week since Thursday and have barely done much. But I'm excited for this transfer!  On Saturday, we had a whole mission-wide conference along with the Idaho Falls mission and had Elder Gary E. Stevenson come and talk to us! We all got to shake his hand too! He spoke on promising blessings and the power behind that. It was amazing! He gave a long talk about preach my gospel and keeping in contact with our friends. I learned how important this is so they can feel the spirit more.  i'm super grateful for what I learned and how I can now apply it to the work in Filer. Yes, that is spelled correctly, we did go to Jarbidge Nevada because it's somehow in our area! And 3 hours away. So, we road tripped with the 4 elders in th
