Grant Mission

Would I do the things I do? This is a question I have asked myself a few times this last week. This week has been fun! In this case, fun and productive don't go in the same sentence. It has been a really laid back week that I have honestly not liked. I would much rather work and teach than sit around and do nothing. I have been getting more and more congested as the week has gone on. It has drained down my throat and made me feel even worse than I did before. I'm getting over it all thanks to allergy pills!  Anyway! Some cool and weird things that happened this week! We have this guy named Gary Stone in our area who is a renowned wood relief artist! We tried his door one morning but he wasn't home then had dinner with one of his neighbors! They had a book of some of his paintings and we spent an hour looking through them! Gary takes commissions so now I am going to see if I can get one based on my Mission!  Another thing that happened was just yesterday, we were knocking a

  So I am really excited for this next week! This last week has been slow but also has been a lot of fun. We had a Zone Council on Wednesday and then District Council right after that. Then on Thursday we had a Zone Conference where multiple zones get together to receive training from mission leadership. We had some members from one of our wards go to the member portion and they loved it!  On Saturday, we saw a miracle at the very end of the day. We knocked on this one family's door and they were all home! They let us in and we shared a lesson with them all! They didn't go to church on Sunday but we have another teaching with them in a bit.  Then a sad thing happened on Sunday. One of our most progressing people dropped us over text. She said she would keep reading the Book of Mormon and praying but that we should stop going over. Hey everyone! Sorry for missing an email this last week, I realized I needed to write one at 10pm and just decided to wait till today. We had transfers this last week and I get to stay in the Kimberly 1 area and I swapped out Elder Johnson for Elder Villezcas (VE-yez-kas)! He loves anything to do with Sonic the Hedgehog and loves to talk. This is going to be a fun transfer! Last week went slow like the end of a transfer usually does but now we have to get that momentum again. There weren't a ton of miracles either but they are definitely coming back.  Something that I saw happen last week was when Elder Johnson and I were teaching this really old guy named Tom Smith. He's a PMF and had been meeting with missionaries for a LONG time and we had finally dug through his concerns to whether or not he believes Joseph Smith is a prophet or not. We had challenged him the week before to make up his mind on that subject but he had forgotten that part of the challenge when we came back. A
