Miracles

Hey everyone, sorry I didn't get an email out last week! We got busy and I had to beat my comp and an 11 yr old in soccer. I did win somehow.  But I have news. We have been working with 2 people in our area a lot this transfer and they are both planning on being baptized this Saturday!  Hey everyone, sorry I didn't get an email out last week! We got busy and I had to beat my comp and an 11 yr old in soccer. I did win somehow.  But I have news. We have been working with 2 people in our area a lot this transfer and they are both planning on being baptized this Saturday!  Madi has had a lot of opposition to her choice from family but is moving forward with baptism! Her parents aren't super supportive but her friends are helping her along the way! We found her at the very beginning of May and now a month later, she is getting baptized. Bryton is a little different. He was found when I first got in the area and hasn't progressed at all until recently. He has friends that hel

Church is optional I guess

So, the biggest thing we faced this week was actually getting people to come to church. We would commit them and follow up but then they wouldn't show up.  We also talked to a TON of members this week! We got to know a lot of their neighbors and see if they are interested or not. It's definitely a miracle when they mention someone who has already come to church and could definitely progress!  Overall, we had a fun week! It is a blast being with Elder Jones and I know this next week will be a good one! Grant Williams Photos: Elder Jones and I at the temple! A rainbow from all the rain these last few days. Unexpected surprises...

So, this last week has been amazing. Elder Jones and I have gone around visiting a ton of members so that we can get to know their neighbors. We have already seen success from this and are going to continue to do it. A miracle we saw this last Tuesday was a call from the Seminary teacher in the stake. He called and told us about this girl who wants to be baptized and wanted to meet that next day! So we met with her and 2 of her friends on Wednesday and she is ELECT! Many things in her life have lead her to this moment and now her friends are helping her make that choice to follow the Savior.  After that lesson at noon, we set the next one for 7:30 the next day just before transfers! We taught her the plan that God has for us and invited her to be baptized. She agreed and set a goal for June 3rd! It is amazing what the lord has in store for each and every person on the earth. The amount of love he shows us through the scriptures and just in the world around us is beautiful.  That was th

Transfers!

I am happy and sad for this upcoming transfer. I'm going to stay for another transfer to make it 6 months in this area and now getting a new companion! His name is Elder Jones and he's from Amarillo TX! I'm excited to see how this transfer goes and the things we accomplish!  I'll update you guys on more miracles next week! I love all of you and hope you guys have a great week! Grant Williams https://photos.app.goo.gl/XZJWnjWgB2mJdqtj6 Sorry I don't have time to attach photos! Hope this works!
