Study Journal, street / park contacting, and Eli Jones again!

So just recently started a study journal and it has helped my studies a ton! The insights and thoughts that I write down stay with me more and help them stay in my mind. My studies are way more helpful and interesting now and I wish I had done this way before now.

So, yesterday on exchanges, I went in my old area! We went street contacting in the city park and it was so fun! We talked to a ton of people and even ran into some young women from some of the Filer wards. They made Elder Seigfried, Elder Klomp's new greenie, and I bracelets that say "I love Jesus". And of course we wore them the rest of the day. 

I also got to see my miracle find Eli! He was baptized a week and a half ago and is doing amazing! We taught him about tithing some more and took some photos. It was great to surprise him. He was really sad I left so he was so happy to see me again.

It was a fun week and I'm sorry there wasn't much to say but I'm still alive and will have more next week!

Afton for 2!

Hey everyone, sorry for no email last week, I was waiting to send one after I got transfer news! I'm staying in Afton for another transfer and getting a new companion! His name is Elder Garcia and he's from Arkansas! He's super funny and we get along really well! This area is just a roller-coaster! We used to have 4-5 potentials for this month and now we have like 2. It has been sad to see the situations that make the people we are teaching wait to get baptized. We are doing our best and being diligent while on the Lord's errand and we hope to see miracles! This area is amazing and I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for it! Unexpected surprises...

So, this last week has been amazing. Elder Jones and I have gone around visiting a ton of members so that we can get to know their neighbors. We have already seen success from this and are going to continue to do it. A miracle we saw this last Tuesday was a call from the Seminary teacher in the stake. He called and told us about this girl who wants to be baptized and wanted to meet that next day! So we met with her and 2 of her friends on Wednesday and she is ELECT! Many things in her life have lead her to this moment and now her friends are helping her make that choice to follow the Savior.  After that lesson at noon, we set the next one for 7:30 the next day just before transfers! We taught her the plan that God has for us and invited her to be baptized. She agreed and set a goal for June 3rd! It is amazing what the lord has in store for each and every person on the earth. The Elect

Hey everyone! Sorry for missing an email this last week, I realized I needed to write one at 10pm and just decided to wait till today. We had transfers this last week and I get to stay in the Kimberly 1 area and I swapped out Elder Johnson for Elder Villezcas (VE-yez-kas)! He loves anything to do with Sonic the Hedgehog and loves to talk. This is going to be a fun transfer! Last week went slow like the end of a transfer usually does but now we have to get that momentum again. There weren't a ton of miracles either but they are definitely coming back.  Something that I saw happen last week was when Elder Johnson and I were teaching this really old guy named Tom Smith. He's a PMF and had been meeting with missionaries for a LONG time and we had finally dug through his concerns to whether or not he believes Joseph Smith is a prophet or not.
