Unexpected surprises...

So, this last week has been amazing. Elder Jones and I have gone around visiting a ton of members so that we can get to know their neighbors. We have already seen success from this and are going to continue to do it. A miracle we saw this last Tuesday was a call from the Seminary teacher in the stake. He called and told us about this girl who wants to be baptized and wanted to meet that next day! So we met with her and 2 of her friends on Wednesday and she is ELECT! Many things in her life have lead her to this moment and now her friends are helping her make that choice to follow the Savior.  After that lesson at noon, we set the next one for 7:30 the next day just before transfers! We taught her the plan that God has for us and invited her to be baptized. She agreed and set a goal for June 3rd! It is amazing what the lord has in store for each and every person on the earth. Church is optional I guess

So, the biggest thing we faced this week was actually getting people to come to church. We would commit them and follow up but then they wouldn't show up.  We also talked to a TON of members this week! We got to know a lot of their neighbors and see if they are interested or not. It's definitely a miracle when they mention someone who has already come to church and could definitely progress!  Overall, we had a fun week! Great week!

Good morning everyone! It has been a fantastic week! We spent the first part of it preparing for Braxton's baptism! That was amazing for him and I know he will keep the spirit with him. On P-day last week, we went to Intermittent Springs. It is the world's largest spring like it and it was really cool! We had to drive up this mountain path to get to a part where you had to walk. Then it got steeper but we were glad to make it up there. Except for the bugs. They were everywhere. We hiked back down and helped an older guy get down as well. It is pretty in the mountains!  We got to speak in church on Sunday! It was really fun because I have gotten better at public speaking. We talked about Love, Share, and Invite and missionary work (the usual topics). It was cool to see how excited the ward was by the time we were done to do missionary work!  This really is the greatest work on the earth and I love being a missionary for my Savior.
