SNOW!
Yes! Snow!
It snowed on Saturday and Sunday and got really cold really fast! You will see pictures at the bottom but it covered the ground and the car! It was super fun and I was laughing half the time it was falling! Being in snow is fun!
However. Being COLD is not fun. I don't really have a super good jacket for the cold and have been on the lookout for a week now. A member gave me a good bulky one that could go over a suit but it's too big to wear normally. If anyone has any good suggestions on coats, I will gladly look into them!
This week has been really fun! One experience however, stands out from the rest. We were at Costco yesterday, and after we got our food we sat next to an older guy who was sitting alone. We got to talking and turns out that his wife died 3 years ago in 6 days. He was really sad and was at Costco to go on one of their mini dates after activities and eat shakes. He also said that he has prayed many times to know if the Book of Mormon was true but has never gotten his answer (all this is happening in a noisy Costco food-court). So, I did all I could. I testified. I told him that even though he has prayed before with no answer, that if he prayed tonight about the truth that he would get his answer. I know I felt the spirit and that means he did too. I will probably never see him again but I believe I affected him a little bit.

That leads into my thought. Prayer is the THE way that we can know the truth of anything. God is not going to lie to us. All we need to do for an answer is ask earnestly and then be ready to act on whatever answer you get. So, if any of you have any questions, pray. Pray and then ACT on the answer you receive. It has changed lives here and it can change your life.
Training is going well but, like normal companions, nothing is perfect but we are working to be better every day!
