Faith and Diligence

This has been a good week. We handed Madi off to YSA (young single adult) missionaries and they are planning to have the baptism in early July. I'm bummed about that but I can't do too much there.

All the people that we committed and invited to come to church didn't come. We did our best.

A big thing that happened was the Ward council for the Hansen Ward came out with us every night this past week! It was amazing! The people we talked to that we were teaching before progressed so much in the lessons with a member! We have been trying to get this going for quite a while!

My favorite thing that happened was probably all of Monday. Elder Smith and Elder Taber came into my area and we had a blast. We worked and had faith and prayed often and were diligent. We got the hang of member work more, signed Elder Jones and I up for over 4 hours of service this week, helped the Guerrero family that got offended commit to come to church, acted on instantaneous promptings to pet someone's dog then giving them marriage advice, and helping someone we have been teaching recognize their worth as a child of God and that they have felt the spirit testify of truth. It was amazing.
Miguel who is the person I described last is now on date for July 8th and he promised us that he would come to church these next 3 weeks to be baptized and have the fruits of the spirit with him always.

I am so grateful for miracles and the way the Lord puts people in our path to have us bless them.

On Thursday we had Zone Conference with Elder Peter M. Johnson. He is a General Authority who came and toured our mission! He gave wonderful advice on missionary work and working with members and even just growing our conversion to Christ! He was super inspirational and helped me out a TON! Go watch a video he did with the church called Running Towards the Light on his conversion story! It's amazing!

Transfers are on Friday. I've been here long enough for members to ask if my records are getting moved soon so I can stay. I know the Lord knows what is best for me and I will trust him in everything but it looks like a 50/50 chance I stay or go. We will see on Thursday when transfer news drops!
