Transfers and Sunday Mishaps
Good morning everyone! It's been a long time in Kimberly and I'm excited to say that transfers happened!
I'm staying. For another transfer.
It should be good though because we have a ton of things lined up for July! My new companion is Elder Lowe and he admits that he is a bit crazy! He is a fun missionary who wants what is best for this area. We have had a good week already!
But, on Sunday, we had dinner with a family in one of our wards and Elder Lowe was joking around like he always does. Apparently this family got offended by what he joked about (sister missionaries not doing work and being bad missionaries when the grandma was a sister missionary and was the offended one) so after dinner they called the Ward Mission Leader and he got onto us and told us to fix it. So we had to stop a very productive exchange on Monday to go to their house and apologize for what was said. This was hard for Elder Lowe and I to do. When we apologized, we did feel a lot better afterwards. This happened in 1st ward which has all the wealthy and "influential" members of the stake in it (or so the WML says).
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is amazing. It helps us change and be better every time we fail or mess up. I saw that on Monday and I saw the change in the room from when we walked in to when we walked out. It was amazing to feel the spirit that was there and how it grew our relationship with the members and how we felt after.
The Prophet is right, we need peacemakers and badly. Hopefully I can continue being a peacemaker in my own life and am able to bring peace to those around me.
Have a great week!

The 1st stake president of the Kimberly Idaho Stake. He turned 90 a week ago!
Elder Jones and I at transfers! I'm sad to see him go.
Our last district lunch last transfer!
Eli Jones and Elder Jones and I! I taught him in my first area and he got baptized a week after I left! He is also crazy.
I got a blue tongue on exchanges.
One of my exchange companions "fell asleep" in the car.
A lady had some hand-carved wild west miniatures! They are cool!
Elder Meyer, Elder Rosevear, and I all in one picture.
And the meme!
