Sorry it's been a while

Sorry it's been a while since I've sent an email. These last few weeks have been good!

We have seen success in talking to people who have previously been taught! Our goals for finding have been reached these last 2 weeks which has been amazing to see! The area is progressing a ton with 3-4 potential baptisms in about a month. They are really solid too. 

Transfer news drops in a week and I'm 99.99% certain I'm leaving which is sad. I love Kimberly and the members and friends I have found here. 

We had a crazy miracle on Sunday. We were preparing to go to our last ward for the day and went to go invite one of our most promising friends to church. But, before we got out the door, we met our recent converts who talked to us for 20 minutes about how one of the 3 of them had had 4 strokes and was in the Hospital and that they weren't sure what to do. Well, I had no idea too so I did the best I could to sympathize and help them out. We sat down for church and Elder Lowe said that we forgot to invite our friend Shaalee to church! We looked around a minute into the meeting and she wasn't there. Then in walks the reliefs society president with our friend! (we have the best Relief Society President aside from my mom) She made sure our friend was good then we went and sat by her and her boyfriend and explained things to them! It was probably the best church miracle I've seen! It made my day!

Another miracle happened last night. One month ago on exchanges, we talked to a lady named Amelia while she was walking her dog. She was about to get married that Saturday and asked for marriage advice from us (because we know all about marriage). We gave her what we could and talked to her about the church for a second then she left. That's when we realized, no one got her address or number so we could talk to heršŸ¤¦‍♂️. So this last month has been spent driving around the area and trying to find her out walking her dog. Well last night we caught her! Because of disagreements about our schedule we ended up coming into Kimberly from a different way than we normally do. We almost just headed home but instead went to visit someone who we had tried to talk to literally an hour earlier and wasn't home. But because of the way we came up to the house we saw this lady walking a really familiar dog! It was Amelia!! We talked to her for about 15 minutes and got her address and we are going by on Thursday! There was no way we would have seen her if we didn't come the other way. 

God is amazing and has a plan for everyone. Even you. Don't give up when it's hard. Keep moving forward and trust in Him and you won't be disappointed.

Afton for 2!

Hey everyone, sorry for no email last week, I was waiting to send one after I got transfer news! I'm staying in Afton for another transfer and getting a new companion! His name is Elder Garcia and he's from Arkansas! He's super funny and we get along really well! This area is just a roller-coaster! We used to have 4-5 potentials for this month and now we have like 2. It has been sad to see the situations that make the people we are teaching wait to get baptized. We are doing our best and being diligent while on the Lord's errand and we hope to see miracles! This area is amazing and I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for it! Unexpected surprises...

So, this last week has been amazing. Elder Jones and I have gone around visiting a ton of members so that we can get to know their neighbors. We have already seen success from this and are going to continue to do it. A miracle we saw this last Tuesday was a call from the Seminary teacher in the stake. He called and told us about this girl who wants to be baptized and wanted to meet that next day! So we met with her and 2 of her friends on Wednesday and she is ELECT! Many things in her life have lead her to this moment and now her friends are helping her make that choice to follow the Savior.  After that lesson at noon, we set the next one for 7:30 the next day just before transfers! We taught her the plan that God has for us and invited her to be baptized. She agreed and set a goal for June 3rd! It is amazing what the lord has in store for each and every person on the earth. The Elect

Hey everyone! Sorry for missing an email this last week, I realized I needed to write one at 10pm and just decided to wait till today. We had transfers this last week and I get to stay in the Kimberly 1 area and I swapped out Elder Johnson for Elder Villezcas (VE-yez-kas)! He loves anything to do with Sonic the Hedgehog and loves to talk. This is going to be a fun transfer! Last week went slow like the end of a transfer usually does but now we have to get that momentum again. There weren't a ton of miracles either but they are definitely coming back.  Something that I saw happen last week was when Elder Johnson and I were teaching this really old guy named Tom Smith. He's a PMF and had been meeting with missionaries for a LONG time and we had finally dug through his concerns to whether or not he believes Joseph Smith is a prophet or not. We had challenged him the week before to make up his mind on that subject but he had forgotten that part of the challenge when we came back. A...
