Well, it's not that bad I guess!

So! I've been here for a little over a week and I love it. It is a steady 70 to 80 degrees here and it's nice! The people are awesome and I hope to get to know them better this week! 

We have a baptism set up for the 19th of August and I can't wait! I don't know Braxton that well but I am so glad he is making the choice to be baptized! 

I got sick this Thursday, kind of during Zone Conference, but it knocked me out all day Friday. It was a head cold and we got medicine and got rid of it pretty quick.

Zone Conference was great! We talked about miracles a lot and how we need to focus on our purpose to bring others to Christ through Baptism. It was good and I needed that boost to move this area forward! We have been given the tools to do this work and now we need to use them!

I hope this next week is as good as this one if not better! Love you all!

Baptisms and snow

Hey everyone! It's Thanksgiving! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and got to spend time with family! It was good to talk to family and see what they're all doing for the holiday! It has been a week truly to be grateful for. Sometimes. We had our friends Ashley and JaCoby get baptized on Saturday! It was great to be a part of their conversion process! If you all could pray for Nat, their mom, to accept baptism, that would be great. This area has been amazing and I can't wait to see what happens with transfers! Transfers are next week friday and I should stay for another one but we will see.  However. We got news that we will be walking soon because they need our car elsewhere in the mission. I would be all for it but the thing is, it's starting to snow. Quite a bit. Okay. You're not going to believe this but...

We have been sick the last 5 days!!!🥳😃😀😅🥲🙁😥😓 Not fun. BORING! It was so boring! And the thing is, Elder Adamson might still be sick. I was sick for 3 of those days but I'm fine now. That means we still won't do anything for a few days. I've offered to help in every way I know how and he either declines or says he'll get to it later. But aside from that, I have had a lot of time on my hands for no reason.  Have any of you guys heard of Hank Smith? Well I had heard of him without truly understanding anything really until last Wednesday. That was the one day it seemed that we worked. Elder Adamson has quite a few of his talks and played one of them in the car. And I loved it! It was amazing! So on Sunday, I asked him to send me all 16 of the talks he has and then binge-listened to them in 2 days. Each one is about an hour or more but it was worth it! All of them were so GOOD! Timing with miracles and sleep...

So, this was a great week! There were a lot of miracles and blessings we saw throughout the week. It was great to see the Lord working through us like that.  Now, there were a few miracles that I found the most interesting. One was a few days ago on Thursday or Friday and we were tracting an apartment complex and we knocked into a lady named Brooklyn who had just gotten through a divorce and was taking it pretty badly. We talked to her and testified that God loves her and cares for her and we gave her our number! We went back on Monday, and she loved the message! She wants to be baptized and we will keep meeting with her to make that happen.    Another also happened on Monday. My exchange companion, Elder Lund, and I were having no luck with anything. We were about halfway to Jackpot Nevada, which is an hour away and still in our area, so we decided to go down and see what we can do there.
