Staying? With him?

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've sent an email, sorry about that. (I guess I say this a lot too)

We had transfers! I get to stay here in Chubbuck ID with Elder Welch! Elder Larson got moved over to Pocatello West and is living live over there!

Also, we knew we were going to be a walking area this transfer so our area got shrunk down from 6 wards to 4. We gained a new ward that meets at a building that takes 30 minutes to walk to so we have had to ask for a ride to get there on time. Elder Welch is now on track to be my longest companion!

Walking in the snow is fun if you can believe that. It's the ice that you have to walk on that sucks. Last winter when Elder Shelton and I were walking it was the worst part and it still is! I am grateful for warm clothes that keep me warm in the 10-20 degree weather.

We have had some snow storms and a fog bank with have been a real joy. We either trudge through snow almost to our knees or can't see where we are. We are probably going to try proselyte and carry shovels to help everybody out.

This last week we have been teaching a man named Garrett Grillo. He married a member and took the lessons a while back but had decided to take them again! We taught him 2 of them and asked him to be baptized but he said he's been thinking of being baptized in June. We invited him to pray about being baptized in December and said we would follow up on Sunday. Turns out, he wants to be baptized by his wife's brother who is serving a mission right now in the Dallas West Mission but gets back in June. We told him not to wait but he is choosing to wait until then. We are going to have our last lesson with him on Sunday which will be really sad for us.

We also went through all the people we were "teaching" and realized we weren't really teaching any of them. So we started from scratch on Monday. We were going around and ended up getting a miracle find! She had met with missionaries about 10 years ago but wasn't baptized and said she would be down to meet with us again! Please pray for Angela!

Overall, this has been a hectic week and we have been walking around like crazy.
