How low can it get?

Too low!!!

I don't know about you guys but it's said it feels like it's in the negatives most days and in single digits every day this past week. I'm not a big fan of the cold so that's been fun! Along with a blizzard and a ton of snow we have had a whole adventure out here!

We had transfers too! I am staying AGAIN with Elder Welch and getting a newer missionary! Elder Waite! He's from Surprize AZ and has chronically cold hands so he gets really cold and stays cold for a long time. His first and only other area was Filer where I served a whole year and a half ago. I've been able to reminisce on my time there with him as we know a lot of the same people there!

Overall, it's going to be a good last transfer! It is weird having about 5 weeks until I go home. It feels like something that should never have ended is now ending. It's odd. But I'm glad for the things I've been able to do and look forward to the last bit of my mission! 

I've heard a lot of other places have been really cold too! How cold has it gotten where you all are?

On Monday we got to give a church tour to someone who is coming back to church and it was amazing! She felt the spirit the whole time and it was only kinda awkward because that meant she was crying the whole time! We gave her a blessing at the end of it and she said she would be at church this Sunday! Then about 30 minutes later, we were on a street corner and a lady pulled off to the side of the road and asked if we could give her son a really fast blessing before she continued taking him to the hospital. We gave him one and I loved it. Definitely a moment worth remembering. I love helping people in any way possible so it was cool to give 2 blessings so close together!

Hello everyone!  We have had a great week here in Kimberly! We started it off by having a lesson with one of our more promising people at the seminary building! She was a lot more comfortable there and the seminary teacher was able to help with the lesson! We had a really busy day on Thursday and ended up rushing everywhere because we had so many things to do in a short amount of time! We got to talk to a lot of members this week and have learned more about some families in the wards we cover and how we can help them! We had that busy pace almost every day this week. Mike has had a really rough life and didn't want anything to do with the church a few years ago. Faith and Diligence

This has been a good week. We handed Madi off to YSA (young single adult) missionaries and they are planning to have the baptism in early July. I'm bummed about that but I can't do too much there. All the people that we committed and invited to come to church didn't come. We did our best. A big thing that happened was the Ward council for the Hansen Ward came out with us every night this past week! It was amazing! The people we talked to that we were teaching before progressed so much in the lessons with a member! We have been trying to get this going for quite a while! My favorite thing that happened was probably all of Monday. Elder Smith and Elder Taber came into my area and we had a blast. We worked and had faith and prayed often and were diligent. We got the hang of member work more, signed Elder Jones and I up for over 4 hours of service this week, helped the Guerrero family that got offended commit to come to church, acted on instantaneous promptings to pet someone&#

Miles, Lists, Painting, Church Attendance, and Exchanges

So, biking is fun. I might've mentioned it before but we were really close to our mile limit for the month so we had to bike these last few days. I've come to enjoy it actually! An elder I know loves bikes because of what he calls "bike blessings". Blessings that come from putting in the extra effort to bike no matter what the weather is like. I can say that "bike blessings" are real! Elder Klomp and I had a lot of success on the bikes! The lists are lists of people who have gone inactive or that we need to visit and there are six of them. One of our wards got on us for not communicating super well after giving them 3 people who are progressing very well and told us to make spreadsheets of EVERYONE on all of the lists. So we typed out all the people and made the spreadsheets. It was tough to be inside typing out a list when I could be teaching someone. We did service for a member this last week!
