Less sick! And seek and expect miracles!
Finally! A time that Elder Adamson and I haven't been passing sickness back and forth long enough to do some good work! We got out Wednesday and on and it's been amazing! I'm learning a lot from him and can't wait to continue the work!
We went to the temple today for the 1st time in a while! It was amazing to feel the spirit there and help others who have already passed make Covenants with Heavenly Father! I didn't realize how much I missed going until this morning. The spirit was there, some familiar members were there, it was fun for all of us! Now i need to go again before the big exodus known as Christmas Break.
We then went straight to play with the other Elders and do some nerf battles! Playing a zombie mode is really fun! We ran and got some exercise in and had a blast doing it, and now we are planning on it next week too! Hopefully we get less injured and less scrapes on our hands but it doesn't really matter that much.
Something Elder Adamson and I have done is seek out the miracles and then expect to see them throughout the day. We try our best to recognize even the smallest miracles and share them and try and look for even more. And the miracles are usually in the small things. We find someone who is interested, a connection is made between Adamson and a friend when they give us a ride home in a snowstorm, and so many more! Those are all from 2 days ago!
I believe that sometimes we expect so much when we look for miracles, like surviving 6 rolls down a mountain, that we overlook the small miracles like the change we make in others lives. I love miracles and that has become my favorite past time at the end of a day to look for all the miracles. If we all took some time to look, I promise that you will see miracles where you least expect them and that they will continue to help you and bless you in all your endeavors as you continue to look for them.
I love you all and am sorry again for the late email. Hope you are all doing well this time of year and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
